After over 20 years in the entertainment industry, Ben has found himself as one of the lucky few in the world of voiceover to work in nearly every arena of the craft.  From animation to ADR, video games, commercials and promos, to big budget feature films & television, the goal has always been to pursue his passion for the arts, and to be malleable as a performer in order to serve the project needs.  And indubitably to take himself very, very seriously ;)

A direct descendant of the Allen Brothers, the founders of Houston, TX, Ben's father was a military officer and received his doctorate at Harvard.  His mother, a yoga instructor, provided the more ethereal perspective, embracing the arts. While working towards a double degree in Communications and Theater, he began auditioning and landing roles in the early 2000's both on-screen and in voice overs, and soon found himself opposite Oscar winner Jamie Foxx with a small role in the biopic, Ray (2004). Shortly thereafter, Ben moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting full time. He appeared in several national commercials, films, and on television in shows such as The Mentalist. All the while studying regularly at the Larry Moss Studio, among many other acting studios, and then becoming a career consultant at TVI Actors Studio in 2007. In 2009, Ben founded and was Director of the Edgemar Film Festival in Santa Monica (where Larry Moss Studio was housed). Since 2011, he has segued exclusively into voice over work and in early 2018, Ben became owner and operator of the Voice Actors Network, which connects fellow voice actors to top industry professionals through advanced level classes.

Ben lives in Burbank, CA with his fiancé, Jenny, and their two amazing boys Lincoln and Frankie.
